The Feathered Fête grew from something that has always been a part of me: a heart for pouring into others. My family often recounts that as a young girl I would create grand gestures for loved ones and new friends visiting our home. To this day, I hold a firm belief that a gift in any form is an opportunity to make someone feel seen and loved. There's beauty in making a fuss over meaningful moments.

I have always adored the sentiment of a classic yard stork. But as I smiled at photos of friends and neighbors standing outside their homes, celebrating their growing families, I felt something missing. I simply imagined a version of this sentiment that felt as beautiful and special as the moment it represented. And so, The Feathered Fête was born — to keep a cherished tradition alive, reimagined with beauty, meaning, and intention.

celebrating, and you are deeply loved."

I have always been a lover of the little details. The kind of person who remembers them and holds onto them. I have always held such a soft spot for a handwritten note. I have keepsake boxes filled with hundreds of them: lunchbox notes from my parents tucked away since grade school, birthday cards from grandparents, and hastily scribbled sticky notes from my husband during our early days of dating. Each one is precious to me, not because it was grand, but because someone took a moment to let me know I was on their mind.

While crafting and creating in all its forms has always filled my cup (and much of my free time), my professional story began in a much different space. Before The Feathered Fête, my career was in oil and gas, where I met my husband on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean, and more recently in environmental consulting. Today, it is still just my husband and me, with hopes of growing our family in the chapter ahead. And when that prayed for day arrives, we look forward to experiencing this tradition from the other side... with a stork of our very own to welcome us home.

“The Feathered Fête was created with dreams that reach far beyond where we began. For now, our storks are just the beginning, and I cannot wait to see where they take flight next.”
